What is Pony Club?
Pony Club is one of the leading junior equestrian organizations
in the world, represented throughout 30 countries! The United States has over 600 individual Clubs spread throughout 48 states
and the Virgin Islands, with more than 12,000 members
About The Howard County Pony Club
The
Howard County Pony Club was founded in 1959 by members of the Howard County-Iron Bridge Hunt as a local club of the United
States Pony Clubs, Inc.
HCPC
is a not for profit youth organization dedicated to educating youth about horses, horse care, horsemanship, teamwork, cooperation
and sportsmanship. Members of HCPC currently range from age 8 to 21.
We
conduct our lessons, clinics, ratings and meetings at a variety sites including the Carroll County Equestrian Center, and
a number of private farms. Lessons and clinics include dressage, show jumping, games, tetrathlon, cross country and quiz.
HCPC members participate in local, regional and
national competitions/rally's in Quiz, Games, Dressage, Show Jumping, and Combined Training. HCPC offers instruction, clinics,
competitions, and may other activities for kids five to twenty-25.
